My daughter uses the XMB forum for years now. I runned it on PHP 4.x.
Unfortenately the support for that at godaddy is very expensive, so I upgraded it to PHP 8.5. It runs well for a few days but when my support contract was due it stops.
Then I tried to update to The latest version 1.10.02

First problem is that i could only upload files so I made manually all the dirs ( lot of work) and I checked it. I place all te files and dirs in a new directory.
I then run the install and filled in the database from the old version. I saved it. and then pushes I already saved it , continue.
There it stopped. The URL is showing step 5.
A config.php was made but gives error.
When I remove the config.php I can start alover and strand again on step 5.
What am I doing wrong?

is there an error_log file in the directories?
