Meta titles and such

So, when linking to a thread/post/forum/user profile, shouldn't we set the meta description of the page to something more relevant? This makes it easier when sending a URL over a social media platform that allows embedding, such as Discord.

Key things I'm curious about would be making sure that unnecessary data is not included within, as well as handling "blank" entities, like posts that only contain an image or YouTube tag.

Is Discord using the page title? I've never tested that.

It doesn't have a preview at all.

There's no meta description, so that's probably part of why.

Oh, hey, I've heard of opengraph.

Perhaps it might be of interest to integrate here.
