Suggestion - Sidebar Widgets
I know this is more than a simple request, especially with all of the themes maybe less than standardized - but a thought for the future would be to
have a sidebar with the first of the widgets to be to add php, Javascript or HTML code.
I have another forum https://www.moparweb.com/ where I have a few code widgets in the sidebar for a static image going to an Internet address when clicked (html),
Revolvermaps (JavascriptP) and Revive ads (php).

Ok, that looks to be a pretty good start. That site doesn't have the version displayed - and I don't have the time right now to try that hack on my
site - or depend that it works on the next version - and have to restore the forum if it blows up. Something inherent to XMB would be a nice feature
in the future, to ensure forward compatibility.

XMB 1.9.11 but not sure they based that outlay on the portal hack.

Well I ticked off e-mail on reply.
I really would like to implement a side bar with widgets. If someone ever tests this hack with the new Beta version when it goes live - let me know so
I can give it a try. I'm a little too busy to be bleeding edge right now.
