Recently I have been seeing a loto of double posts by users as per the link to my site.

In this case it looks like the user has relied but got 2 posts then an hour later replied again and another 2 posts.

It doesnt always happen at a specific time or with a specific user so I am guessing it may be somethign the user is doing (ie backspacing or using the back button)

any ideas or is this a common issue but just the first time i have seen it.

This has started occurring on my forum too, started about one to three weeks ago. As there has been no forum script changes for a long time, and it is only occurring with a small number of members, and they are the same members who have the ongoing problem, I reckon it's something to do with the device or browser they are using. Perhaps ask those members with double posts what device they are using and second to that, which browser. That may help id the issue.

thats what it looks like to me as well. its a setting in chrome. I dont use chrome so cant test but it may have something to do with the back button or maybe backspace key once you have posted. its too sporadic and i cant be bothered loading chrome to check it and the settings.
