[New] Cannot Add new Forums/Sub Forums

Full Board URL: http://exposureforums.org
XMB Version: 1.9.11

I had an issue with my last XMB forum, where after a certin period of time I could no longer add new forums/sub forums... nor could I change the properties on forums/sub forums through the admin panel.

So my friend installed the newest version of xmb and everything worked fine, until now. I can't do anything with my forums through the admin panel. Cannot "hide" "delete" "add" or anything else.

I do not get an error message, when i try to create a new "sub forum" i click the button and it leads me back to the admin panel forums view without the changes.

Does anyone know why this happens and is there a solution?

Suggestion by elimination;
1- Are you the super admin user, do you have the correct permissions as it sounds like your user account is limited?.

2- Did you make changes to paths in the admin?

3 - Is your config file correct?

Beyond that I would have to look at your admin to help you and maybe your files as well. If you don't have a problem with that just PM me your details.

I am not a programmer but I run multiple forums and understand how these forums work as I've been using them for years so I'm happy to help if you want it.

I am the owner, Administrator, I have the power to create and remove anything, but it's just not working.

No changes have been made to the site, and yes the config file is correct.

When i go to Admin Panel >> Forums >> and try to delete a forum, it just takes me back to the (Admin Panel/Forums section) without changes, no error messages, no success messages.

If it originally worked, then something has changed to stop it working. Maybe an incorrectly installed hack.

Lottos is right and without actually being able to physically go inside it will be hard to work out as you are the only one that knows what changes you made.

Cheers

Nothing has been installed though. We had the hacks installed and everything was working great and it just stopped working without anyone doing anything.

Like I said without being rude in any way at all, The only way I can help you is to be able to look at it for myself.

Send me your server and admin details either using u2u on here or send them to my email address at ( ozymail at ozymail . com . au ) and I will be more than happy to help you.

Your details are safe with me as I do this for a living and after I am done I delete all details. Plus I still advise you change your passwords anyway for assured safety.

The decision is yours and would help you get on your way with getting your forum going.

Cheers
