I got an email from the forum and decided to come and say hello, to the community of my heart!

I tried to find threads that would explain what is the presence or the future of xmb.
Unfortunately, couldnt find much.

So, what is going on here? Is there an active development? What are plans for the future? Are there people using xmb?

I would say it is actively maintained and used, yes. There just hasn't been any momentum for an overhauled v2. That possibility remains open.

I don't track usage. I just know there are still XMB sites out there, still several past and current versions in use out there.
