I have never had any issues before on the old site so assume its a setup issue.

CMS is content management system, like WP, Drupal etc.
They probably mean to check files and stuff have been transferred correctly.
I think it's a htaccess issue as you say or there's something incorrectly configured.

it was totally toast and I put that up while it was being fixed.
Maybe my ISP has fixed the issue .... it appears to be working at present but being saturday evening i cant contact them till monday now.
Last I left it I had the ISP put html before php and added an index.html file that simply redirects to www.club-k.co.nz/Forums/index.php after 2 seconds.
What I dont understand is why when php was before html that it simply didnt load the index.php by default? quibel - 2-14-2016 at 03:48 AM
my ISP has pointed the site back to the old server for now which is why it is working again .... I wont be able to ge the techs to point it to the new
site until after then.
