[New] 403 Forbidden error

Full Board URL: www.club-k.co.nz/Forums
XMB Version: 1.9.11

I have just had to migrate my website to a new server through my webhost and I am now experiencing 403 forbidden errors (as below)

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /Forums/index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I run a .htaccess which has this in it
redirect 301 /index.htm http://www.club-k.co.nz/Forums/index.php

------------

The error appears when you try to access my site via
www.club-k.co.nz/Forums

but not if you access my site via
www.club-k.co.nz
(I assume this is because my .htaccess)

The error also appears when you click on the "club-k home page" link just under the header (as that is set in the config to go to www.club-k.co.nz/Forums

The error also appears when you log in and out after hitting Login.

---------------

I have never had any issues before on the old site so assume its a setup issue.

I have asked my webhost to check permissions between the old and new site but what else can it be????

CMS is content management system, like WP, Drupal etc.
They probably mean to check files and stuff have been transferred correctly.

I think it's a htaccess issue as you say or there's something incorrectly configured.
Admin doesn't post anymore here it seems.

Both links didn't result in an error for me, I see:

"Message
Welcome to Club-K.

Currently the website is turned off to allow for migration to a new server.

All going well I hope to have the club forum up and going again by this afternoon 12/02/2016

Sorry for the inconvenience

Quintin"

perhaps it's a caching issue.

it was totally toast and I put that up while it was being fixed.

Maybe my ISP has fixed the issue .... it appears to be working at present but being saturday evening i cant contact them till monday now.

Last I left it I had the ISP put html before php and added an index.html file that simply redirects to www.club-k.co.nz/Forums/index.php after 2 seconds.

What I dont understand is why when php was before html that it simply didnt load the index.php by default?

my ISP has pointed the site back to the old server for now which is why it is working again .... I wont be able to ge the techs to point it to the new site until after then.
