As XMB is an open-source community, we endeavor to keep even our administrative discussions as open as possible. This message to our web host and
sponsor, iEntry, is an important attempt to keep everyone informed of recent developments. Discussion continues at: Server Down Time From 20 Jan 2012
Dear iEntry,
Our phone schedules are not meshing, the XMB community does not have its answers about the server failure, and the new VPS remains inadequate. As of
now, the XMB SVN service is still broken. Efforts to restore the server have been documented and alternative courses of action proposed and
considered. The XMB community is ready to proceed in its activities with or without the support of iEntry.
Tomorrow, we will shift XMB members' efforts away from repairing the iEntry VPS. We will initiate a full evaluation and possible restructuring of the
XMB systems, disaster recovery plans, URL structures, and domain names. All possibilities will be open to consideration.
iEntry is welcome to participate in this process, in writing.
Sincerely,
XMB Administrators kuba1 and miqrogroove
