XMB Forum Software

Thank you!

It Happened.
A new major point version happened. Wow.
Since April 2024, it just slowly (but surely) all came together - and here we are now. :3

Perhaps there's still some things to improve upon, but this is the starting point/base (and from what I saw, a very impressive cleanup/refactoring of what's a very old core) of a brighter, future path for XMB.

An actively developed lightweight software is actually nice to have in an age of bloat and people trying to reinvent the wheel. XMB is comfy and gets the job done. Though maybe I'm just old school.

And while forums aren't perhaps the fashionable/in-thing anymore, in these should we say "interesting" times we live in, they do provide a nice sort of shelter away from all the things we have slowly become accustomed to on the addictive doompit known as social media...

A big thanks as well to miqrogroove for putting up with me (and for getting all of this done on time). Testing stuff on the alpha board was pretty fun.

(What happened to the XMB1.9.11 support section, did you delete it or is it archived somewhere BTW? Also, the customisation sections probably need redoing for the new version...)

1.9.11 support is out of view now. I could move it around more but it seems very obsolete already.

Fair enough.
The XMB themes/hacks sections should probably be archived too as they pertain to unsupported versions.

Themes haven't changed. Maybe it's best to remove the version numbers on that.

Hacks on the other hand have, so perhaps it's worth archiving those?
