Full Board URL: https://www.club-k.co.nz
XMB Version: 1.9.11

Hi Ya.
Haven't been on here in ages as the forum has been made an information portal only but I would like to open it up again for our dwindling users.

I have backed up all of my forum and my database.
I have turned off my board.
I renamed my current v11 board as Forums_Old (just incase)
I uploaded the new v12 board as Forums (including updated config file)

When I run the upgrade path https://www.club-k.co.nz/Forums/upgrade/, I get a "This page isn't working error, www.club-k.co.nz is currently unable to handle this request".

For now, I have renamed the V12 forum as Forums_New and renamed to V11 forum as Forums just so users dont see an error page if they tryto go there. Its easy enough to change back later.

Any Ideas.

Where you renamed the directory to "Forums_New" please check if any error_log files were created. I would start with Forums_New/upgrade/error_log

Sometimes error messages get redirected to other locations. Check the parent directories and the global PHP logs. Usually those logs are enabled and it's just a matter of finding them.

Also, please mention the PHP version number.

Micro
I've had a look in the V12 forum/upgrade directory and it still only has the 7 initial files in there. (index, login, readme, shell, status, trigger, upgrade.lib)

I believe its on php 5.3.29 if that sounds right.

Have a look through the installation requirements.

https://docs.xmbforum2.com/index.php?title=Requirements#PHP

I will make a note that we should try to display error messages in a way that is compatible with that situation.

Thanks.
Ill go back to the website provider and ask if they can upgrade my PHP version.
If it can be upgrade will the 1.9.11 work until I get the 1.9.12 upgrade run?

Both versions are compatible with PHP 7. If you update directly to PHP 8 then the site will show error messages until the compatible XMB is running.
