XMB Forum Software

[READ ME] SHOULD I CONTINUE DEVELOPMENT OF XMB?

LordOfSpoon - 11-4-2016 at 10:23 PM

Hello to anyone who is still here!

I will get straight to the point.

I am on a search for a open source, dead forum software to fork, re-brand, and continue development.

Although before I do so I would like to know if there is anyone here, if still here, would like to see this happen. Now, I have other forum software on my list. Although I like the look of the software an believe it can be updated to something new and fresh.

So in closing..... Is there anyone here who would support the continued development of XMB? Under a new name of course....

If you are the owner of XMB (and are still here), and you are reading this going wtf? Please contact me at lordofspoon@gmail.com so we can talk.

Thank you everyone!

It appears the poster did create or fork some forum scripts however his community forum looks to be abandoned and has errors.

Hello!

Sorry to whom is still reading this. I honestly was not expecting my post to be approved. However, from the time I posted this message I soon found out I was going to be a father not to mention a huge career change. Therefore I have halted all development on a previous software I was working on. I'm still trying to find time to "re-build" a forum software. I have a great love for forums and would like to give something back. I would only be able to do that with the support of loyal users and hopefully people who are well versed in php, html, etc.

Congratulations on both counts!

I'd be happy just to see tagging for both members like @member name in posts and tags for posts for search.

I'm trying to set aside the time to work on a new project. What else would you like to see implemented in XMB?
